Actor and musician Jamie Foxx has shared a new post on Instagram to pay his tribute to the iconic Friday actor, Tom ‘Tiny’ Lister, who is known for his role as Deebo.

Thomas ‘Tiny’ Lister Jr. was best known for his role as the neighborhood bully Deebo in the 1995 film Friday. His friends and close circle said they hadn’t heard from him since Wednesday. As a result of the police investigation, the actor was found dead in his home. The police stated that Lister has died of natural causes at the age of 62.

In a recent tribute on his official Instagram account, Jamie Foxx uploaded one of Deebo’s photo and penned down a touching letter to pay tribute to the iconic actor. In his letter, the 52-year-old actor said that the late actor did so much for black culture by reflecting his talent and performances.

Here’s what he wrote:

“With your performances and your talent you did so much for our culture and so much for the world… REST IN POWER. #tinylister #deebo 💔”

Followers, fans, and many IG users headed to the comment section and paid their tribute to the late actor. Others showed some reaction to his unexpected death.

An IG user commented:

Another fan wrote:
