We’ve all left a rough year behind and we have great hopes for the new year. While entering the new year, many online organizations were organized and many artists gave live concerts on the internet. One of them was Jason Derulo.
The TikTok New Year’s Eve Party was held yesterday and was hosted by Brittany Broski and Lil Yachty. A live event was held at the online party, featuring musical performances, trend announcers, and social-purpose episodes.
The event featured performances by Jason Derulo, Saweetie, Aly & AJ, Tai Verdes, and special performances by Cardi B, Liam Payne, Charli, and Dixie D’Amelio, and TikTok sensation Mick Fleetwood.
After the event, an internet hater asked Jason Derulo why he was lip-syncing while singing in the live show. The 31-year-old defended himself by saying that he never lip-synced and that this was due to a technical glitch. He also said that due to this technical glitch he will send the actual performance to the event managers to post on Youtube.
Here’s what he said:
“I NEVER lip-sync! It’s sad that at this level, a network can make these kind of monumental mistakes. The audio was at least an entire second late in comparison to the video. I work too hard for this kind of incompetence. I’ll post the actual performance I SENT THEM on YouTube.”
A fan also supported Jason Derulo and commented:
“You don’t gotta explain yourself. Real ones know. Happy new year Jason.”
“Yeah screw these haters bro. You are the goat and I know you give it 100 and 10% every time you perform. You are truly one of the greatest singers ever and I can not wait to watch that video on YouTube.”
