British actor John Boyega, who is known for his role as Finn in three recent Star Wars films, revealed he doesn’t want to appear in the Star Wars anymore, and he left his character behind himself.
The 28-year-old actor revealed he has moved on from the character in response to a user comment on one of his recent Instagram posts showing the actor back on set. The user nicknamed techsteveo wrote:
“Force Finn in action with Green lightsaber dressed in black is all I want from the next SW film!”
“lol no thank you. I’ve moved on.”
Another user nicknamed samkim_1 then wrote:
“Really just got those Disney bucks and dipped.”
“Nope. Not into playing one role for too long. I have more to offer than that. That’s all.”
When the Star Wars star spoke at the Black Lives Matter protest in London, he was back in the headlines earlier this summer. However, he has not included Star Wars in his plans and seems to focus on different projects.

It’s not surprising that Boyega has expressed his desire to move on from the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, because in April after a Twitter user had described ‘Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker’ as ’embarrassing,’ Boyega responded:
“Embarrassing? LOL, you wish. Very fulfilling, some disappointments but yet not that big of a deal. Everyone has moved on.”
