John Legend Confesses He Was ‘Dishonest And Selfish’ Before He Met Wife Chrissy Teigen
The Oscar-winner singer/songwriter John Legend opened up his past relationship and admitted that he was an unfaithful person before meeting his lovely wife, Chrissy Teigen.
Speaking to Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on Monday during their ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Legend talked about his cheating history before meeting his wife Teigen. He stated:
“I did have a history of it — definitely in my 20s. I was younger than everybody in high school and college, and so I just didn’t get a lot of girls. When I started to get that attention, I loved it.”
The 41-year-old singer said he was fooling himself, thinking that he wasn’t doing anything wrong. Also, he also described himself when he was younger as absolutely dishonest and selfish. He added:
“I definitely was dishonest and selfish.”
He said that when he began to become famous, he admitted that he used his fame for selfishness and benefited from it. However, everything ended when he met Teigen, whom he married in 2013. The couple has two children, 4-year-old Luna, and 2-year-old Miles.
