“Joker” Director Exposes Unseen Photos From The Movie For The First Time

The “Joker”, starring Joaquin Phoenix, was released on August 31st and received many positive reviews. The film also featured artists such as Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, and Marc Maron. The film was directed by Todd Phillips.
Todd Phillips posted footage of the “Joker” movie on his official Instagram page and he shares a thank you letter for the first time. He wrote:
“Some more random BTS pics from the movie. This first one was from our makeup test before we started shooting. I have LOTS more and will post soon as people seem to be digging them. #Joker is everywhere. (Again, thanks for ALL the messages. Very touching).”

Before released the movie, Todd Phillips says the movie doesn’t look twisted but it will make people mad. He also explained that he did not follow comics. Todd Phillips said:
“We didn’t follow anything from the comic books, which people are gonna be mad about. We just wrote our own version of where a guy like Joker might come from. That’s what was interesting to me. We’re not even doing Joker, but the story of becoming Joker. It’s about this man.”
