Josh Radnor Says ‘Please Stop’ To Imposters Who Try To Impersonate Him On Social Media
Actor Josh Radnor, who is known for his role as Ted Mosby in the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ series, is having trouble with people who are opening fake accounts on his behalf and trying to scam people, so he shared a post warning his followers about this on his Instagram account.
Josh Radnor mostly uses his social media to post his music or share cute photos of his dog, Nelson. He is widely known for his role as Ted Mosby but he also has a musical career besides his acting career.
In 2017, he released songs with the band Radnor & Lee and worked with the independent musician Ben Lee. Radnor & Lee’s first song was ‘Be Like the Being Now.’
In 2020, the band released their latest studio album ‘Golden State’ which included pop-folk songs and Radnor often shares videos of himself singing to his followers.
On Sunday, however, the actor had to make a different announcement and warned his Instagram followers not to believe in fake accounts which send DM’s to people on behalf of him. He revealed that he had only one account and thanked his followers who warned him about the situation.
Josh Radnor also urged the imposter people who set up fake accounts trying to trick people, saying that what they are doing is not right, it is very unkind behavior and they can hurt people, so they should stop doing it.

“This is my only Instagram account! If you’re getting a DM from another account claiming to be me IT’S NOT ME. Thanks to all the people who’ve let me know. And to whoever this imposter is, please stop. It’s very unkind what you’re doing and could hurt people. JR”

Another follower wrote:
“I had a fake you a few days ago and explained to them that they were not you lol they didn’t believe me that they weren’t you! Until I said ‘dude, not cool. The real Josh is way cooler than this nonsense you’re peddling. Just stop.’… fake you blocked me 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣 but I reported him 🤗”
