Juice WRLD’s Mother Carmela Wallace Recalls Her Biggest Fear She Told Her Son Before He Died

Famous rap singer Juice WRLD, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, died last year at the age of 21. He died of epileptic seizures shortly after reaching Midway International Airport in Chicago.

30 kilograms of drugs, guns, and armor-piercing bullets were found in the jet belonging to the famous rapper who was known for his songs such as All Girls Are The Same, Lucid Girls, and Robbery.

The death of Juice WRLD, who also mentioned substance addiction in his songs, upset his mother deeply, who said that she often warned his son about this.

Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, who recently made statements about her son’s death revealed that was one of the things she decided to do was to tell everyone her son died from a drug overdose. She didn’t want to hide this as a secret because there were so many people dealing with the same problem.

Speaking to her son many times about taking care of his health, his mother warned Juice WRLD that he should not try to self-medicate and instead use his medications as the doctor sees fit. Then she told him her biggest fear was him overdosing on the stuff and unfortunately it happened.

Here’s what she said:

It was devastating. But, one thing I decided early on was that I was not going to hide the fact that he died from a drug overdose. I did not want to keep that a secret because there are a lot of people who deal with that every day.

I said, ‘if you have anxiety, then you need to get medicated properly for it instead of medicating yourself,’ I talked to him about it. I told him my biggest fear was him overdosing on the stuff. That’s why I made the decision I have to talk about it with other people. I can’t keep that as a secret.”
