Famous singer and songwriter Justin Timberlake updated his Instagram feed by sharing his new music video ‘Better Days’ with Ant Clemons that they wrote during the quarantine.
Justin Timberlake, who became a father for the second time this year, is not a name that shares very often on Instagram, but he prefers to express his opinion on issues that concern society.
In one of his previous posts, he shared his opinion on the American elections and argued that every voice has a powerful outcome.
On Thursday, Justin Timberlake promoted his new song ‘Better Days’ while at the same time encouraging his followers to support the state elections in Georgia, which will also take place in January.
The singer, who wrote the song ‘Better Days’ with Ant Clemons, stated that they wrote the song to bring hope to people’s lives after this year’s frustrations and challenges.
Later on, he announced that the revenues of the virtual concert, Rock The Runoff, they gave together would go to Fair Fight’s incredible work to fight voter suppression and Timberlake expressed that he expected support from people in Georgia to move the country forward and turn out for this election.
Here’s the caption:
“Tonight @antclemons and I performed our new song “Better Days” for @staceyabrams’ Rock The Runoff virtual concert in support of @fairfightaction.
We wrote the song together during the lockdown as a reaction to the frustrations and challenges we’ve all been hit with this year… but also as a reminder to stay hopeful and continue working toward a better future.
All proceeds from tonight’s event went towards Fair Fight’s incredible work to fight voter suppression and ensure every Georgian can be a part of the January 5 runoff election.
This state election is gonna play a crucial role in moving our country forward – and we are not helpless in this fight. To get involved or get more info — go to fairfight.com (link in my bio), and encourage your friends in Georgia to turn out for this election 🙏🏻 #BETTERDAYS”
