Kate Beckinsale Says ‘I Am Devastated’ As She Pays Tribute To Peaky Blinders’ Helen McCrory

British actress Kate Beckinsale said goodbye to legendary actress Helen McCrory on her Instagram account after hearing her devastating death.

Helen McCrory, best known for her roles in ‘Peaky Blinders‘ and ‘Harry Potter‘ film series, died on April 16 at her home in London due to cancer. She was 57.

Her husband and actor Damian Lewis announced the sad news on his Twitter page with the caption; “peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family.”

Kate Beckinsale was one of the pays tribute to the iconic actress. She took to Instagram and honored her with a heartbreaking post. In the caption, she mentioned her immense talent, unique elegance, intelligence.

Beckinsale also recalled the good old days that she played when she was 19 with her in Uncovered, a 1994 film directed by Jim McBride.

Here’s what Kate Beckinsale wrote:

“I am devastated. Helen McCrory wore her immense talent with unparalleled grace and wit and heart. I worked with her when I was 19 and she was already one of the greatest actresses we have ever had. And kind. And naughty.And warm. The absolute best.So much love to her family and such a loss to everyone. Go well, you beautiful, brilliant soul. You will be dreadfully missed.”
