Florida-based rapper Kodak Black shared an unexpected tweet on his verified Twitter account and showed his admiration for Grammy Award-winning singer Ariana Grande.
It’s been a year since Kodak Black took a prison sentence in a plea deal for two weapons charges, and nearly two since he released his last project, the album Dying to Live.
On November 11, the Florida rapper released his third studio LP Bill Israel, named after both his now legal name Bill K. Kapri and his religious faith. The project sees 11 tracks and features from Jackboy, Tory Lanez, CBE, Gucci Mane, and Lil Yachty.
The 23-year-old rapper shared a tweet from prison and showed his admiration for Ariana Grande. In his tweet, he said that he’s a big fan of Ariana. He also said that he didn’t know if this admiration had anything to do with whether she is from Florida or not.
Here’s what he tweeted:
“I’m A Big Fan Of @ArianaGrande IDK IF IT Got Sumn To Do With Her Being From Florida but She Just Like Dat!”
However, fans of Ariana Grande did not seem very happy with this situation and reacted to this tweet of the rapper.
A Twitter user commented:
“STAY AWAY FROM HER”
Another user wrote:
“Don’t mention her?”
