Lana Del Rey updated her Instagram feed to inform her fans about the accident that occurred during the Christmas weekend and let them know that it was not anything symbolic.
Although the release date of Lana Del Rey’s new album has not been shared yet, we had the chance to listen to the song ‘Let Me Love You Like a Woman’ beforehand.
On January 11, another song which has the same name as the new album, ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club,’ will be released with its music video.
On Sunday, Lana Del Rey posted a bunch of photos on Instagram but the most important one was the cover photo in which she posed with a cast on her arm smiling at the camera.
In the caption, she made it clear that the cast on her arm wasn’t because of something symbolic, but it was just the result of her thinking she was still a pro figure skater. Basically, while she was skating, she fell very badly and fractured her arm.
Moreover, she stated that she can be seen in her second video for her new album with the cast on her arm, so she felt the need to clarify the situation before anything else was said.
Here’s the caption:
“When you see my second video for this album, don’t think that the fact I’m wearing a cast is symbolic for anything other than thinking I was still a pro figure skater.
I wiped out on my beautiful skates before the video even began after a long day of figure eights and jumps in the twilight of the dezert.
Anyways my fracture isn’t that bad kind of goes with my new bucket hat. Thanks to my beautiful family for my gifts”
While Lana Del Rey’s fans were upset by this news, they also conveyed their wishes to the singer and the post received over 1.2M likes.
One of the fans wrote:
