Lauren Jauregui Pens Emotional Tribute After Losing Her Grandfather To Cancer: ‘Abuelo, Thank You For Everything’
The successful singer and former member of Fifth Harmony, Lauren Jauregui, shared a heartbreaking post after she lost her beloved grandfather because of cancer on her official Instagram account.
The 24-year-old singer is having a very difficult time with the pain of losing her grandfather because her family members succumbed to cancer for the third time and the singer, who has many memories with her grandfather, shared her feelings with her followers sincerely after this devastating loss.
On Thursday, Lauren Jauregui took Instagram to share a couple of old photos taken together with her grandpa and expressed how devastated she felt after losing him.
In her caption, the singer gives thanks for many things her grandfather helped her with and the things he taught her like how to drive or cheering her on, and showing her off to everyone he encountered.

“It’s crazy how fast Cancer takes them man. This is the third one to be eaten up by it and the medical industry. It kills me every single time. Abuelo, thank you for everything.
Thank you for teaching me how to drive, thank you for always believing in me and cheering me on, and showing me off to any and everyone you encountered. Thank you for helping us with no second thought whenever we were struggling financially.
Thank you for helping put me through school. Thank you for always fixing everything around the house.Thank you for sharing every single major moment of my life with me.Thank you for your quiet presence on the couch almost every single day.
Thank you for taking care of Clee anytime I needed help. Thank you for your daily phone calls. They only lasted a few minutes, but that’s all we needed, a check-in and an I love you. I’m gonna miss those calls. I’m gonna miss you so much.
I know this is what you wanted and I know that you’re not suffering anymore and I know that you’re happier than you were here…but I’m selfish, and I’m gonna fucking miss your grumpy ass at the birthday parties and noche buena.
