Leonardo DiCaprio Is Devastated After Terrible Attack In Animal Park

Oscar-award winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has shared a new post on his official Instagram account and devastated after the deadliest attack it the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

As we all know, a few days ago, 12 rangers have killed by the members of a Rwandan rebel group in Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The 45-year-old actor took to social media and shared the Virunga National Park’s official statement about the horrible ambush by stating it was devastating.

In the statement, the Virunga National Park organization sent to the condolences message to the families of the rangers and other victims. The community also said they were encouraged with the support that shows them the other communities.

Here’s what Leonardo DiCaprio wrote and the official statement of the Virunga National Park:

“This is devastating. News from Virunga National Park regarding the attack on the park’s rangers: Virunga National Park would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for the outpouring of love and positivity you have shown to us during this heart-wrenching time.”

The statement was continued:

“We, along with the families of the rangers and the local community, are humbled and encouraged by your messages of and sympathy and support. Several of you have inquired about what you can do.

We are collecting donations to help with the funerals of the fallen rangers as well as to assist the devastated families they leave behind. General support is also needed to keep the torch of hope burning for the brave rangers and staff who continue to carry on with the park’s critical work of protecting its wildlife and communities.”
