Lewis Hamilton Pens A Meaningful Apology Message To His Team After His Fatal Error At Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Mercedes’s racing driver, Lewis Hamilton, explained the difficult situation he had during Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan, on his Instagram page.

So what happened? RedBull’s driver, Max Verstappen, had a flat tire during the race and was out of the race. After the red flag was waved, the other racers took their positions to restart the race.

Shortly after the race restarted, Hamilton made a braking error on the first corner, and he finished the race in 15th place, despite his incredible effort.

Hamilton shared a photo of his mistake after the race and explained how the accident happened. Hamilton apologized to everyone in his team by saying a minor brake closure caused the accident.

Here’s what Lewis Hamilton said:

“Today was a humbling experience. We worked so hard to put ourselves back in the top 10 today after a rocky week here in Baku.

We gave it our all today, and a small error caused the brakes to switch off.

Sorry to the men and women in our team, we’ll come back stronger for the next race.”
