Atlanta rapper Lil Baby has revealed he used to pay Gunna to write his songs. Gunna helped him write songs for a fee in a day.
During a recent interview with 16BARS, the rapper Lil Baby has shared his thoughts about the friendship of rapper Gunna and paying him to write his verses. He said previously:
“He was already rapping. I kick it with him, fuck with him and then I start rapping. And he actually started helping me rap.
I done paid Gunna to write my songs. I never put the songs out but when I first started to rap, I used to like pay him $100 to like, ‘Like I’mma give you a hundred, write something for me so I could go in and learn how to record it.’ Like I ain’t never like, recorded the songs and put ’em out but that’s how I used to like practice.”

During a recent interview with BigBoyTV, the young rapper Lil Baby has clarified his previous statement about pay Gunna to write his verses. He stated:
“Gunna ain’t never wrote no song for me. He just showed me how to rap, like, if he wrote a song, he wrote like what I got going on.”
