Lil Durk Hints At An Another Collab With Drake Right After Releasing ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’

Chicago rapper Lil Durk expressed his wish to work more with Canadian rapper Drake in a recent interview with Complex and hinted at a possible collaboration.

Drake released the music video ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ with Lil Durk on August 14. On the Billboard chart, the song was ranked number 2 after Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s WAP. The video clip was also featuring Brooklyn Nets basketball player Kevin Durant and Cleveland Browns’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

When asked if he has started the next project, the 27-year-old rapper said that he started a new project, but he wanted everybody to focus on ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ and his fifth studio album ‘Just Cause Y’all Waited 2.’

He said:

“Yeah, we are working. But until we figure out the next step, I just want everybody to focus on the Drake record, and Just Cause Y’all Waited 2.”

Durk gave hints that there are many surprising things happening in his collaboration with Drake and that he could collaborate more with the Canadian rapper. He said:

“Yeah, it ain’t the only one. It ain’t the only one. I’ll leave it at that.”

Anywhere in the interview, the rapper also talked about his verses about the controversial rap artist Tekashi 6ix9ine. He thought that 6ix9ine is one of the rats in the music industry. He stated:

“I said I hate rats. No. I don’t play those games. I don’t pay attention to niggas like that. I just hate rats, and he’s one of them.”
