Lil Nas X Admits His ‘Call Me By Your Name’ Single Is About A Guy Who Met Last Summer In A Statement About The Video

Rapper Lil Nas X finally managed to enthrall her fans by releasing her ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ music video. This video became the rapper’s first queer video.

Lil Nas X released the first song of 2021, and this highly anticipated song has a crazy music video. The music video shows Eve kissing a snake, a pole dancer who seduces the devil, and a prisoner chained by people wearing Regency-era wigs. Everyone described in the video was played by Lil Nas X.

Lil Nas X also made a statement about the video addressed to himself at age 14. The 21-year-old singer and rapper said that the song is about a guy who met last summer. However, he didn’t release his identity because he promised the mystery guy.

Lil Nas X seemed proud of being a queer, even though he knew he would be blamed for changing the agenda by people, and said it would be the agenda to stop dictating who they should be.

Here’s what Lil Nas X wrote:

“Dear 14-year-old Montero, I wrote a song with our name in it. It’s about a guy I met last summer. I know we promised to never come out publicly, I know we promised to never be ‘that’ type of gay person, I know we promised to die with the secret, but this will open doors for many other queer people to simply exist.

You see this is very scary for me, people will be angry, they will say I’m pushing an agenda. But the truth is, I am. The agenda to make people stay the fuck out of other people’s lives and stop dictating who they should be. Sending you love from the future.”
