Lil Nas X Amazes The 2021 Met Gala Carpet With His Three Regal Outfits: “It Was Fun”

Rapper Lil Nas X definitely got off to a great start at this year’s Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the first time. The rapper chose to wear a dramatic ensemble custom-designed by Donatella Versace, the red carpet equivalent of a Matryoshka doll. One glamorous outfit wasn’t enough, so Lil Nas wore three outfits for the event.

For his first outfit show, Lil Nas X wore a fancy cape covered with intricate gold beads. The design had a noble aura. Shortly after he was pulled onto the carpet in his cloak, Lil Nas lifted him up, revealing the golden armor underneath. But his courage did not end there. The star ditched that layer and slipped out in a tight-fitting dress, crystal-encrusted bodycon design, and Versace’s signature house print.

This is the rapper’s first Met Gala experience, but we’re not surprised to see him take it naturally. The rapper who makes daring music videos, however, definitely took things to a more epic level tonight, though.

Lil Nas X also tweeted about the amazing event and wrote:

“Met Gala was fun. I love when they did the Illuminati ritual”
