Lil Nas X Reveals A Sad Situation About His Mother

During a recent conversation with ‘Variety,’ trap-country artist Lil Nas X has revealed a sad situation about his mother.
As you know, The 62nd annual Grammy Awards will take place on January 26 in Los Angeles, and Lil Nas X won her first nomination in the awards. In the nominee list, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Meek Mill, 21 Savage, Shawn Mendes, and Camila Cabello, as well as names such as Billie Eilish and Lizzo were included.
While talking about his quick rise, Lil Nas X recalled his past life and shared a few facts about him. Lil Nas X announced that her mother was a drug addict.
Here’s what Lil Nas X stated:
“So much happened during my rise. You know, drugs and murders. And my grandmother passing [in 2018]— she was the first person close to me who died. It was devastating. And it made me a hypochondriac.
I’d wake up, heart racing. It was scary. Smoke weed heavily, but then I started feeling more connected with the universe, and taking everything as a sign.”
Lil Nas X also shared that she was trying to secretly rehabilitate his mother. He continued:
“I never really talk about my mom. She’s an addict so we don’t have the closest relationship. Even trying to get her better — things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love…
The biggest surprise of becoming globally famous? On the outside, everybody loves you — but on the inside, everything [feels] the same.”
