Lil Nas X Reveals Why He Will Put His Grammy Awards To The Basement

Rapper Montero Lamar Hill, known as Lil Nas X, seems he will put his Grammy Awards to the basement after receiving his new award.

As you remember, Lil Nas X was one of the Grammy-winning artists in 2020 for ‘Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ and ‘Grammy Award for Best Music Video’ with his record-breaker song, Old Town Road, which he collab with country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

On the other hand, the 21-year-old rapper has won ‘Kids’ Choice Award’ for ‘Favorite Breakout New Artist’ in the ceremony of the 2020 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and he finally received the prize after months.

Due to a coronavirus pandemic, Nickelodeon has sent the rapper’s prize to his place. He jumped to Twitter on Monday to take a photo of the award as soon as Nas opened the package he got and posted it on his timeline.

Lil Nas X left a caption for his post and said that he would put his Grammy Awards to the basement to make room for his Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice prize. Absolutely he was sarcastic to show his excitement to get this award.

Here’s what Lil Nas X said:

“Putting my Grammys in the basement to make room for the new supreme.”
