Lil Wayne Targets Grammys Amid The Double Standard Rumors

One of the iconic rappers in the hip-hop world, Lil Wayne has shared his thoughts about the Grammys on his Twitter page and targeted the community of the awards.

As we all know, Grammy awards have been boycotted by famous artists such as The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Bieber because of their unfairness and double standards rumors. The legendary rapper Lil Wayne also joined them.

The boycott of the 63rd annual Grammy awards is said to be due to secret committees and dark deeds. However, this attitude was also discussed.

Lil Wayne was nominated in one category, Best Recording Package, for the art direction on his latest album Funeral. the legend was not nominated in any categories at the ceremony. In fact, the last time he won a Grammy was in 2016, for his feature on ‘No Problem.’

Here’s what Lil Wayne tweeted:

“Fuk the Grammys”

Last year, the 38-year-old rapper called out the Grammys and questioned why he was invited to the show. He said:

“As an artist, when I see da Grammys coming up & I’m not involved nor invited; I wonder. Is it me, my music, or just another technicality? I look around w respect & wonder competitively am I not worthy?! Then I look around & see 5 Grammys looking bak at me & I go to the studio.”
