Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne mournes the late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant with a beautiful tribute on the official Kobe Day.
Earlier this year, Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a horrific helicopter crash while traveling to Mamba Sports Academy. After his death, all his fans around the world were shocked and deeply saddened.
August 24 was recognized as the official Kobe Day, based on his iconic jersey numbers 24 and 8 he wore throughout his basketball career. Many people remembered him with the great tributes on this special day.
The 37-year-old rapper took to Twitter to mourn the late Los Angeles Lakers legend with a heartwarming photo. Weezy has shared a new photo of his 10-year-old son, Kameron Carter, on his verified Twitter page.
As you might see in the photo, Kameron was posing with his gold and purple jersey while holding a basketball. Lil Wayne put Kobe, and Gianna’s jersey numbers in the caption and showed off his love and longing for them.
In this way, Weezy showed that he was trying to teach his lovely son how to embrace Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Mentality.
