Lizzo Creates Controversy Among Followers With Her Latest Video On Being Body Positive

In her latest post, the singer Lizzo shared a video in which she bravely exhibited all her lines and emphasized that she had nothing to shy away from encouraging her followers to do the same on her Instagram account.

One of the first things that come to mind when singer Lizzo is mentioned is of course body affirmation and her motto to love yourself as you are.

The 32-year-old singer has become a symbol of body positivity for people who are not at peace with their bodies and don’t have self-acceptance because before Lizzo there wasn’t anybody who didn’t hesitate to show off their plus size bodies creating a positive movement.

On Monday, Lizzo took Instagram to share another brave video of herself wearing a white bra and matching underwear showing off her curves and fat.

In the caption, the singer stated that she was proud to see her body positive movement come so far as being the girl who started the movement in the first place. Lizzo also stated that her body was changing, but this doesn’t cause her to stop loving her body from every angle.

Here’s the caption:

“Wild to see the body positive movement come so far. Proud of the big girls who gave it wings. My body is changing but I’m gonna keep appreciating it from every angle.”

Although most of the followers wrote positive comments under Lizzo’s post and appreciated her for her bravery, some other followers found it unhealthy and claimed that it wasn’t anything near of being body positive.

A fan named Elisabeth wrote:

“I’m lucky to be a big girl in the era of lizzo. You are awesome”

Another fan named Stephanie Dinh wrote:

“Your confidence, influence and self love is EVERYTHING ❤️”

A follower nicknamed bama776 asked:

“This is considered confidence? 🤔”

Another follower named Alex Haynes wrote:

“That is not healthy at all 🤢🤮🤮🤢”
