Mariah Carey Reminds A Major Historical Fact As She Pays Tribute To The Notorious B.I.G.

Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Mariah Carey remembered one of the iconic rappers all of the time, The Notorious B.I.G aka Biggie Smalls, on the 24th anniversary of his death and it was revealed a major historical fact.

As you recall, Christopher Wallace, best know for his stage names, Notorious B.I.G. and Biggie Smalls or Frank White was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in the early hours of March 9, 1997, and died at the age of 24.

In the photo, Carey, sitting in a radio chair, was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Biggie Small. She had also joined the interview with her lovely Jack Russell terrier dog, Mutley.

She captioned the post by leaving one of the amazing songs of The Notorious B.I.G., ‘Sky’s The Limit.’

Here’s what Mariah Carey captioned:

“Notorious B.I.G. Rest in Power! ‘Sky’s The Limit'”

DJ Suss One, who interviewed with Mariah Carey in 2018, also jumped to the comment section and thanked her to reveal a major historical fact about her 1997 song ‘Honey’ (Remix).’

As you all know, the Bad Boy version of her 1997 ‘Honey (Remix)’ produced by Diddy, Q-Tip, and Stevie J, featured Ma$e and The LOX, but according to Mariah Carey, The Notorious B.I.G. was actually supposed to appear on the track. Mariah admitted that she thought Biggie Smalls for ‘Honey (Remix).’

Mariah Carey stated:

“That was unfortunately during that time [Big passed].”

She continued:

“He had the ‘Dreams’ record out at the time. I was always like, ‘Why did he have to say that?’ Then someone, I’m not going to mention, a prominent rapper, said, ‘He meant that as a compliment.’ I was like, ‘Okay, if you said it, I’ll take it that way.'”
