Mark Hamill Reacts To The Massive Fire In The Gulf Of Mexico After Leaking Oil From The Pipeline

The underwater pipeline of Mexico’s state oil company Pemex (Petroleos Mexicanos), 78 meters deep in the sea, ruptured. A fire broke out due to an explosion and oil leak at the valve on the submarine line in the early morning off the coast of Campeche state, near the Gulf of Mexico.

While the fire could not be brought under control for about 10 hours, the fire extinguishing works are carried out by 3 extinguishing ships. It is tried to prevent the fire from spreading to the Ku Sierra platform, which is approximately 400 meters away.

After the fire, the so-called ‘eye of fire,’ resembling a huge fireball on the ocean surface, was recorded by Pemex workers and shared on social media.

After getting viral of the video of the ‘eye of fire,’ Mark Hamill took to Twitter and showed his reaction to the massive fire in the Gulf of Mexico. The Star Wars actor said that the fire looked like the apocalypse and looked shocked by this fire.

Here’s what Mark Hamill said:

“If this isn’t a sure sign of the Apocalypse, I don’t know what is.”
