Mark Hamill Supports A Campaign That Removes Donald Trump From Social Media Permanently

Iconic Star Wars actor Mark Hamill updated his Twitter timeline to support a campaign that removes Donald Trump from social media permanently.

Donald Trump is having the last day of his presidency today. Again, because he has made controversial decisions, every way is tried to get Trump opponents out of social media permanently.

As you recall, Sacha Baron Cohen has been calling on all social media CEOs for weeks and arguing that Donald Trump’s social media accounts should be permanently shut down. However, Trump’s accounts were suspended until the last day of his presidency. Thereupon, Cohen claimed that Trump would continue his lies.

Here’s the tweet of Cohen:

“Think Trump is leaving tomorrow?

Think again.

Facebook and YouTube STILL show THOUSANDS of Trump posts & videos with his election lies and calls to “fight!”

RT & tell @Facebook @YouTube:

On January 20th, remove Trump from your platforms, PERMANENTLY!

#BanTrumpSaveDemocracy”

One of those who supported these allegations was Mark Hamil. Hamill quoted a tweet from Cohen on Twitter and said he would continue Trump’s lies and provoke people. For this reason, he argued that Trump’s social media accounts should be completely shut down.

Here’s what Mark Hamill wrote:

“His 30,000+ lies won’t end when he leaves. His #BigLie that the election was stolen caused the violent insurrection in the Capitol & his followers to reject @PresElectBiden. Time for @YouTube & @Facebook to remove his poisonous lies PERMANENTLY… NOW. #Ban_tRUMP_SaveDemocracy”
