Marlon Wayans Writes Heartbreaking Letter After A Sad Loss

The world-famous American comedian and actor, Marlon Wayans, has shared a sad photo of the Emmy-nominated writer, Jane Milmore, via his official and verified Instagram account.

Jane Milmore, a showrunner and Emmy-nominated writer who was a scribe on sitcoms including The Hughleys, Martin and The Wayans Bros, passed away on February 4 after her 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was just 64.

On Friday, Marlon Wayans has shared a special photo of Jane Milmore on his Instagram account and penned down a touching open letter after the death of her. He was looking very sad due to this timeless death.

Here’s the letter of Marlon:

“Damn another “Wayans Bros” family member gone. Jane, thank you for your and Billy’s contributions to our show. That first season was tough. Trying to figure out the stories, the characters, the Ruthy and the comedic sensibilities of two young black me.

We didn’t always agree but I look back on that show and I LAUGH SO HARD. We did the damn thing. Successful television you can watch 100 years from now and still laugh. Well, my friend its been 25 years and I’m still laughing… we all are.

Thank u. Rest well kiss Pops and Grandma for me. #wayansbros #ripjanemilmore.”

A fan named Dee Taylor commented:

“We definitely can watch the show over and over again and laugh all the time. May she RIP 🙏🏾”

Another fan named Pearl McClain wrote a sad message:

“I am sorry for the loss. I still laugh at the show too. One of my fav classics!!”
