Marvel President Confirms A Transgender Superhero In The Next Movie

In a recent event at the New York Film Academy, Marvel president Kevin Feige talked about the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe, confirming a transgender superhero will have appeared in a new movie.
When a fan asked about the plans for LGBTQ representation in the Marvel, Kevin Feige said that the new Marvel film will feature a transgender character, and more transgender characters will feature in the future.
Here’s what Kevin Feige stated:
“Yes, absolutely. Yes.”
During his speech, Marvel president continued to say that the character would appear ‘soon’, which led some of the MCU’s fans to think that the character would appear in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder,’ to be released in 2021.
If we take a look at all Marvel comics, the only transgender character is in Thor’s world, ‘Sera.’ She descends from a group of purely male angels called ‘Ancharites.’ She also recently transitioned from male-to-female in the comics and then Sera meets Thor’s long-lost half-sister Angela, and the two start a romantic relationship.
