Master P Reveals Why He Never Listens To Nipsey Hussle’s Music Before
During a recent interview with People by Hanna Flanagan, rapper, producer, and New No Limits Records owner Percy Robert Miller as known as Master P has shared his thoughts about why he never listened to Nipsey Hussle’s music. He said:
“Everything he got after he died, he deserved that before. He could really make music. People know now. His music touches millions of people now. I had people say, ‘You know, I never listened to his music. It’s really good’. But you waited ‘til he died? It makes no sense.”
Master P also mentioned about he and Nipsey were in the studio together a few days ago before Nipsey was killed. They were working a song for the upcoming film I Got the Hook Up 2. He continued:
“This was a talented brother who cared about the community and did a lot [for it],” Master P said. “This man was a star. His legacy is going to change so many lives.”
Master P continued about Nipsey Hussle’s wife Lauren London situation after Nipsey’s death. He said:
“He took care of his kids and he took care of his girl. I do a lot in the community where he lived because of him. The marathon will continue. Through this project, we’ll be able to go back and take care of kids in the community and show them that it’s about doing what’s right, ‘Don’t worry if you’re not celebrated. Keep doing what’s right’.”
