Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has been continued to support the 25-year-old Albert Wilson who is a former University of Kansas student convicted of rape.
Albert Wilson was a 20-year-old student at the University of Kansas when he was accused of raping a then 17-year-old girl in Lawrence in 2016. Wilson was convicted by a mostly female, all-white jury.
As you may remember, Kim Kardashian and Meek Mill launched a social media petition to get the case heard, and more than 600k people signed the campaign.
On Twitter, Meek Mill took to Twitter once again and showed his support for the 25-year-old Albert Wilson. Meek called out the authorities to release him. Also, the case has gained national attention with Kim Kardashian and Meek Mill advocating for him.
