Philadelphia-based rap artist Meek Mill updated his Instagram feed and remembered rapper Nipsey Hussle 2 years after his tragic death.
Ermias Joseph Asghedom, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle, was shot in front of his clothing store named Marathon on March 31, 2019. He was 33 when he died.
Many artists took to their huge social media platforms to honor Nipsey Hussle. One of them was Meek Mill. The Philadelphia rapper uploaded a throwback photo taken side by side and showed his respect for the late rapper.
The 33-year-old rapper also showed his longing for Nipsey with the caption as below.
Here’s what Meek Mill captioned:
“Hustle and motivate.”
As you recall, Meek Mill and Nipsey Hussle made a lot of songs together. Their collaborations were special and one of the hit songs was ‘Mustard What These Bitches Want.’
On the other hand, Meek confirmed that he and Hussle had 20-30 percent of the album done. In an interview with GQ, he said that they had finished three or four songs. There’s no word on whether or not those records will ever be released. Meek also released a song titled ‘Letter T Nipsey’ with Roddy Ricch in 2020.
Here’s what Meek Mill stated:
“As I got a chance to know him, I learned he had a good heart. A pure heart. His energy was good… We probably had about three or four songs.”
