Philadelphia-origin rapper Meek Mill updated his Instagram feed and showed his reaction to the murder of an African-American man named George Floyd by the cops.
On Monday, George Floyd, 46, killed by a Minneapolis police officer, and the officer was keeping his knee on the black man until he was dead.
Residents took to the streets of Minneapolis to protest the death of African-American man George Floyd who died while being arrested by a white police officer.
Today, Meek jumped to Instagram to share a never-before-seen photo of himself taken by his mother after showing violence from the police officers. He said that he is a rebel since that day and paid his tribute to George Floyd with this post.
As you might see in the photo, young Meek showed an eyebrow injury after being subjected to violence by the cops, but, the wound was covered with a sore.
Here’s what Meek Mill wrote:
“[My] mom my took this pic and filed it with internal affairs, nothing happened! I [have] been a rebel since!!! #georgefloyd I got charges for breaking one of the cops’ hands also like he didn’t break his hand on my face!”
An Instagram comedian commented and said:
