Michael B. Jordan Congrats Boxer Ryan Garcia’s Major Success With A Rocky Balboa Reference

Actor Michael B. Jordan congratulated the 22-year-old boxer, Ryan Garcia, on his official Twitter account with a Rocky Balboa reference after the boxer won the WBC title by knockout against Luke Campbell.

Rising star Ryan Garcia knocked out Luke Campbell in round seven this Sunday morning for the WBC intermediate lightweight title at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

During the fight, 22-year-old Garcia went through one of his toughest tests. In the second round, Campbell hit an upper left punch that knocked Garcia down for the first time in his career.

However, Garcia remained calm and stood up. He, who soon adapted to the fight again, rocked Campbell in the fifth round. In the seventh round, Garcia won the fight by punching a hard punch in the stomach of his opponent.

Michael B. Jordan was one of those who watched this fight and shared an inspiring and motivating quote from the 2006 movie Rocky Balboa, which was released after the fight. Rocky Balboa movie, starring Sylvester Stallone, is about a 10-round boxing match he played against Mason Dixon.

Here’s what Michael B. Jordan wrote:

“‘t ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward’ Congrats young king. @KingRyanG”
