Michael Jackson One Makes A Little Change On MJ’s Birthday Celebration Performance During Pandemic

The official Instagram page of Michael Jackson announces a little change on King of Pop’s birthday celebration performance during coronavirus pandemic.
Michael Jackson One is the second Michael Jackson-based production in Cirque du Soleil’s roster, after Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour. It was announced to the public and media on February 21, 2013.
As we all know, the cast of Michael Jackson One creates a special one-time-only performance to a Michael Jackson song during the afternoon’s birthday celebration. The birthday of MJ is 29 August.
However, they have to change their performance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the official Instagram statement, Since the performance is not possible this year, they will only air a few of these past performances from 2015 and 2017, which are only available 24 hours a day, on Michael’s YouTube channel, starting at midnight tonight.
Here’s the statement :
“Every year on Michael’s birthday, the cast of Michael Jackson ONE creates a special one-time-only performance to a Michael Jackson song during the afternoon’s bday celebration. Since that is not possible this year, enjoy a look back at a couple of those performances from the past – 2015 and 2017 – starting tonight at midnight, available for 24 hours only, on Michael’s YouTube channel – here’s a sneak peeks of the cast rehearsing in 2017!”
This announcement thrilled fans, and many Instagram users flooded to the comment section.
