Mike Posner Pens An Inspiring Letter To His Fans

Grammy-nominated songwriter and also successful poet, Mike Posner, posted a recent photo on his official Instagram page and shared the experiences he had after tracking in Castle Peak.

While he’s sharing the process of the tracking session, he also asked a crucial question to his fans. He stated that he’s struggling with his heated socks and asked how he can warm these.

Here is the caption of the photo:

“KEEP GOING. This is a photo that coach @drjonkedski snapped of me on the ridge line headed toward Castle Peak. At the time, we were about an hour from summit after starting at 3:05am and working for 5 hours or so.

The beauty of the mountains is unreal…almost hard to believe. I’m getting more acclimatized and relaxed at higher heights. It’s so cool to be the only ones up there.

My feet got very cold but not numb on this trek. I’ve been experimenting with heated socks. Any advice on keeping them warmer? Love you guys. Hope you are pushing yourself to find your own potential today. Keep going.”

An Instagram user named scottnglsh commented on the post:

“Hey Mike, I’m with the Canadian army and we do lots of arctic response training, even temperatures colder than -50°C. I wear NEOS overshoes with boot liners inside and merino wool socks, with a foot pad in the bottom.

Feel free to message me if you want to chat about gear! I’ve got a good amount of experience working in super cold weather!”
