Former heavyweight champion professional boxer Mike Tyson is preparing his highly-anticipated return and he has shared his thoughts about his fight with Roy Jones Jr.
Tyson will fight with Roy Jones Jr. on September 12th, and it will be one of the greatest fights of the entire year. On the other hand, fans are extremely excited to see what the 54-year-old boxer can do.
During a recent appearance on Max Kellerman’s ‘First Take’ show, Iron Mike talked about his upcoming fight. When asked Tyson what it’s like training for a fight at 54 years old and said that these kinds of boxing games do not look great by referring to Muhammad Ali’s last fight at the age of 47.
Even though it is difficult to fight in the advanced ages, Mike Tyson showed that he is confident. He said:
“Just because we’re 54, that don’t mean we have to start a new career and our life is totally over. Not when you feel as beautiful as I do.”
Mike Tyson retired from boxing career in 2005, but he astonished everyone with his recent training videos on social media and proved that he is ready for it.
