Missy Elliott, one of the best female rappers, posted a get well soon message on her Twitter account for singer and songwriter Jessie J, after hearing the news that she spent in the hospital with Meniere’s disease on Christmas Eve.
Jessie J shared on Instagram Stories that she had trouble singing, hearing, and walking. Meniere is an ear condition that can cause sudden dizziness, lightheadedness, and hearing loss.
Here’s what Jessie J stated:
“I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn’t walk in a straight line.
Basically, I got told I had Meniere’s syndrome. I know that a lot of people suffer from it and I’ve actually had a lot of people reach out to me and give me great advice, so I’ve just been laying low in silence.
Now’s the first time I’ve been able to sing and bear it. It could be way worse, it is what it is. I’m super-grateful for my health. It just threw me off.”
Following the singer’s announcement, rapper Missy Elliott took Twitter to urges fans to pray for Jessie J. She uploaded one of Jessie J’s video singing a song and prayed for complete healing and strength.
Here’s what she said:
“Prayers up for @JessieJ for Complete HEALING & STRENGTH”
Also, fans and followers headed to the comment section and prayer for the singer with Meniere’s disease. The others tried to understand what happened to the singer.
A fan wrote:
“So much respect for her music and talent! I will of course send healing energy her way!!”
A Twitter user commented:
“What happened to Jessie J?”
