Morgan Freeman Shares The Viral Inauguration Meme Of Bernie Sanders With Shawshank Redemption Reference
Respected actor Morgan Freeman has shared a new photo on his Instagram page and joined people who share the viral inauguration memes of Bernie Sanders.
While attending the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, a photo of Sanders sitting down cross-legged while wearing a mask, jacket, and mittens circulated online.
The image of Sanders has become a viral meme as online users inserted the photo into photos of popular scenes from movies, television shows, artworks, and more.
Stars such as Mark Hamill, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Susan Kelechi Watson, and more even joined in on the fun. One of them is Morgan Freeman.
The 83-year-old actor shared a photo of the 1994 movie, The Shawshank Redemption. If you look at the photo, Bernie Sanders’ viral image was placed in the film, as in other memes. Freeman also joked about the photo and posted it as the deleted scene from the movie.
