Natalie Portman Shares An Amazing Perspective About Female Heroes As The New Goddess Of Thunder

Successful actress Natalie Portman recently made a virtual appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she shared some interesting facts and tips about her new role as Jane Foster in Thor: Love And Thunder.

Kelly Clarkson called herself as the nerd of any kind of superhero movies, therefore she directly asked Portman if Jane Foster gets some powers in the new film. Portman gave a brief answer and explained that she does have powers, although it’s not exactly the same as Thor. Jane Foster has her own version of it, calling her ‘The Mighty Thor.’

Here’s what she stated:

“She does have powers. It’s not exactly the same as Thor. It’s her own version of it. ”

Thus, Portman admitted that Jane Foster had superhero powers completely different than the original god of thunder. It would be quite enjoyable to watch Portman as the goddess of thunder because, as Clarkson mentioned, superheroes used to be played mostly by males, but now there are many representations of powerful female characters such as Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman and all the women in Black Panther and much more.

Now children are not admiring just male heroes but there are also female heroes to look up to because as Portman points out having female heroes on the big screen expands the opportunities for how we see each other in daily lives.
