Nathalie Emmanuel Is On A Mission To Get Back In Shape For Her New Role As An Athlete
The British actress and model Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel, who is best known for her role as Missandei on the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, posted after a while to update her followers about the latest developments in her life via her official Instagram account.
The 31-year-old actress hasn’t used social media as much as she used to and explained that the reason for this was that she didn’t get the necessary motivation, but she felt better by exercising in sunny weather. Being in constant communication with her friends and family was also an important factor to feel happy again.
On Monday, the actress took Instagram to share a selfie after doing some exercises as she wanted to normalize being sweaty, frizzy, spotty, hairy, and un-plucked in 2021.
In the caption of the photo, she revealed that she somehow found herself in the Dominican Republic to start a film in about a week. Therefore, she started running on the beach to nurse her sleepy legs because in the film she will play a fictional character who is an athlete.
Nathalie Emmanuel didn’t mention the name of the film but at least we know that her character will be an athletic one and the actress have to work very hard to get back in shape.

I have been running on the beach which is so much harder than treadmill or on road running. While I nurse my sleepy 2020 legs, the run I just did would be NOTHING for the fictional character and athlete I am about to play… She’d probably laugh at me tbh… like “awww nice try babes.”
Anyway… Happy New Year. I haven’t posted in a little while because, even with all my privilege and blessings, I was finding the “Happy” part a little difficult. The sun and exercise have definitely helped that’s for sure but also staying as connected to friends and family as is possible right now and talking to them has helped too.
