NBA Draft Star Ja Morant Reveals How Lil Baby’s Music Affected His Basketball Career

During 2019 NBA Draft set at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, NBA Draft prospect Murray State guard Ja Morant has shared his thoughts about being ‘Point God’, Lil Baby‘s music and advertising agreements.

19 years-old star revealed Lil Baby’s music motivated him a lot. He said:

“I started listening to him when ‘Perfect Timing’ came out, and as he kept dropping stuff, I’ve been listening to him more. Now that’s who I listen to a lot. I shuffle all of his songs, and it gets me in the mode. Whatever team I fall to, they can expect a dude that’s going to work from day one and do whatever I can to help the team and make an impact not only on the court but in the community.”

Ja Morant also mentioned about his nickname ‘Point God’. He said his nickname given to him by his father. He said:

“When I said it the first time, and everybody heard it, they were like, ‘Oh, he’s cocky, he’s arrogant — but we’ve been saying it for a while. I feel like I’m a very humble dude, but at the same time you have to have confidence in yourself.”

Finally, he talked about the ad agreements. Ja said:

“It started with us developing a good relationship. They’re big into with music with their headphones. They’re definitely louder, especially the bass. That’s how I like my music.”
