Ozark fans couldn’t have been more pleased because Netflix confirmed the series to be given extra four episodes by an exciting announcement on Twitter.
The successful series has received the good news that it was renewed by another season in an announcement by Netflix. Now, the series is to continue for the 4th season, but here’s the exciting part: Netflix granted an additional 4 episodes to the series, leaving the producers, director, and the cast of the series extremely pleased.
The producer Chris Murphy said in a statement:
“We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right.”
Also, Jason Bateman expressed his gratitude by saying:
“It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on-screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.”
The multiple award-winning show Ozark has been one of the most successful series in terms of the speed of expanding into larger audiences. The show grew so quickly that, we believe, Netflix decided to give the show another 4 episodes to wrap things up in the most proper manner. The 4th season will consist of 2 separate parts, each containing 7 episodes.
The fans are heartbroken because their favorite show is nearing the end. At the same time, they’re rather excited about the extra 4 episodes as this will give them the opportunity to see more of the darkest sides of the show, which they’ve all been yearning for.
Before Netflix confirmed the 4th seasons for the show, Mundy entertained the idea of what a 4th season would look like if given the green light:
“If we’re lucky enough to get a season 4, I think it will be about whether or not Ruth (Garner) really can create something of her own that she wants and is sustainable, or if she wants something else.”
“And I think it will be about if the Byrdes can they turn the biggest mistake of their lives into this huge advantage, and how much will karma catch up with them if they do?”
