Nicki Minaj Reveals Why She Discusses Religions With Kanye West

Last Friday, Chance The Rapper announced his debut album collaboration with Nicki Minaj and he sat down with Nicki on Queen Radio to talk about his growing career, how his wife saved his life and discusses religions with Kanye West.

Nicki Minaj explained that people perceive individuals in the music industry, especially artists as if they do not believe in God or have any spirituality, but that this cannot be further than the truth. She also told that Kanye West’s inspiration to her. She said:

“Sometimes in the music business, we think that other artists don’t believe in God or aren’t spiritual as we are and stuff like that. So we automatically go to the normal, ‘Oh, what up?. Then when you find people, because I just was with Kanye, and he told me he’s a born-again Christian now. Like my first instinct was, ‘I’m so proud of you,’ because I could see there’s a peace that he has now that just surpasses everything.”

A few days ago, Nicki Minaj spoke to Queen Radio to talk about her former manager Big Fendi. She explained that topic of forgiveness. She stated:

“This is what I always do in any relationship with anybody that I have. I make a list in my brain of all the good things about this person and what they brought to my life and all the bad things. And if the good outweighed the bad, then I sometimes give them another chance at being in my life. But most of the times I don’t let people back in my life, but I forgive them.”

‘Megatron’ singer also explained that the fact that she forgives people does not mean to be friends again. She continued:

“People get the wrong idea. When I say I’m a very forgiving person, they think I mean we gon’ be back friends. Oh, we ain’t never gon’ be back friends. You know what I mean? It’s like that with me, normally. Normally. It’s not that I’m walking around angry at them. I never be, like, mad. I be like, ‘Okay, next.’ But with this person for many, many years I was very, very angry. I just felt betrayed on so many levels and I’m sure he felt that way as well, but, here it is.”

She admits that Big Fendi had a big impact on her career but she also stated:

“The mistake you made was that you thought I was some brainless ho that you was going to tell what to do. The last straw was when you put me on a DVD and the caption said ‘Super P*ssy.’”
