Former basketball player Nina Earl Westbrook celebrated her husband and Washington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook after he broke the NBA record for triple-double.
Washington Wizards all-star guard Russell Westbrook has reached 182nd career NBA triple-double and broke Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson’s record for the most in league history. The record had stood since 1974, the year Robertson retired.
The record-breaking moment occurred in the Wizards’ on-the-road game against Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, when Westbrook took his 10th rebound with just over 8.30 to go into the fourth quarter. He finished the game with 28 points, 21 assists, and 13 rebounds. Wizards lost the game with 125-124.
Nina Westbrook took to Instagram and congratulated her husband for his insane success. In the caption, the 32-year-old former basketball player showed some admiration and love for her husband.
