Legendary actor Pierce Brosnan has added himself and his family to the list of celebrities who have acted against racial discrimination by sharing his latest post from his Instagram account.
The protests that started against racism and police violence after the death of George Floyd have been continuing both in many states across the country and social media. Many celebrities showed their supports to the protesters who demand justice for the black community.
Today, Brosnan shared the new photos of himself with his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, and son, Dylan Brosnan, on Instagram to show some support for the black people, and also added a quote saying by Afro-American activist, Martin Luther King.
In the first photo, Brosnan and his family were posing somewhere, holding the different banners with ‘Black Lives Matter‘ written on it. In the other photo, the former James Bond actor quoted a famous saying from Martin Luther King. Here’s the full quote:
“I think America must see that riots do not develop out of thin air. Certain conditions continue to exist in our society which must be condemned as vigorously as we condemn riots. But in the final analysis, a riot is the language of the unheard…
And so in a real sense cur nation’s summers of riots are caused by our nation’s winters of delay. And as long as America postpones justice, we stand in the position of having these recurrences of violence and riots over and over again. Social justice and progress are the absolute guarantors of riot prevention.”
Brosnan also captioned:
“There comes a time to demand change. If not now, when? Photo by Kit Furderer”
His son Paris Brosnan supported the movement and added a comment:
“No justice! No peace! 👊🏽❤️”
