Rap Artist Max B Reveals The Good News About His Conviction

In mid-2009, 41 years-old rapper Max B was sentenced to 75 years in prison on conspiracy charges pertaining to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and felony murder. As of September 16, 2016, it has been announced that Max B has taken a 20-year plea bargain for aggravated manslaughter and is set to be released on July 1, 2029.

Harlem rapper went to Instagram to celebrate that his time was reduced to 12 years. He wrote in the caption:

“They gave me 75, got it chopped to a 20 then got it down to a dozen, nigga I’m good with the money 🌊🌊”

French Montana and Kardashian’s family also helped to reach Max B’s freedom more quickly. French Montana has talked about Kim Kardashian trying to get him out of jail. He said:

 “I mean, life is like a mirror sometimes. And sometimes a lot of people don’t see the good that they do, like as far as Kim. Me and Kim was talking about getting Max B home from jail. ‘Cause she’s doing the whole thing with….So, like for her to even reach out and do that I felt like that was powerful. A lot of people don’t see things like that.”
