Ricky Gervais Makes An Offensive Joke About Protesters Who Fight Against Racism

Comedian Ricky Gervais is someone who thinks he can joke about everything, and this time he mocked the racist-fighting protesters with his latest post on his verified Twitter page.

On June 11, After Life star had slammed famous names who appeared in a new public service video titled ‘I Take Responsibility’ campaign speaking out against racism and denouncing police brutality. He wrote:

“Terrible lack of diversity in this video.”

Today, Gervais tweeted out a new joke about protestors who fight against racial discrimination and police brutality. In the tweet, he said that he felt sorry about the horses used by the police officers at the protests and suggested using armored rhinos instead of horses to stop protests.

Here’s the tweet:

“I always feel sorry for the horses at these protests. I would like to suggest the use of armored rhinos instead.”

A Twitter follower named Liv asked:

“What point are you trying to make here?”

Ricky replied to her:

“A joke.”
