Avengers’ actor Chris Evans gifted Captain America shield to a young kid who protected his sister against dog attack, but somehow Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. managed to defeat Captain America after promising for a better gift than CA shield.
A few days ago, the social media heard the heroic story of six-year-old Bridger when it was posted by his aunt, Nicole Noel Walker. In an Instagram post, Walker explained how Bridger protected his little sister when a dog suddenly attacked his sister. He was bitten multiple times by the dog and had to get more than 90 stitches. Since the story was publicized, Marvel actors have reached out to the kid after learning he’s a big fan of the MCU.
Tom Holland chatted with him in a video call for the incredible courage of the little boy. Chris Evans sent the boy a Captain America shield. But it looks like Robert Downey Jr. has a bigger surprise for Bridger.
In Downey’s message shared by Brandon Davis, he promises to send the young hero a better gift than Captain America’s shield. Although he has yet to reveal what that surprise gift is, Downey told Bridger to call him when it’s almost his birthday. He said:
“Bridger, you’re a rockstar. My name’s Robert Downey Jr., I play ‘Tony,’ that makes me an old friend of Cap’s. I heard he sent a shield your way: I’m going to do one better. You call me on your next birthday, I got something special for you. ‘Late. By the way – that’s a promise; a promise beats a shield.”

Tony Stark knows a hero when he sees one.
Robert Downey Jr. sent a message to Bridger, making him a big promise after the boy rescued his little sister — and it’s good to see Captain America and Iron Man still going at it.
