Russell Westbrook Posts Heartbreaking Tribute To Late Friend Khelcey Barrs On What Would Have Been His birthday

Washington Wizard basketball player Russell Westbrook celebrated the birthday of one of his best friends, Khelcey Barrs III, and shared a touching message and moved everyone.
One of Westbrook’s best friends growing up, Barrs tragically died while playing basketball in a pickup game in 2004. He was just 16 years old when he passed away.
Westbrook has never forgotten his friend who passed away at a young age, and he makes emotional posts every time to honor him. The athletic point guard wears his name or symbols on basketball accessories to honor KB3 in the teams he plays for.
This time he shared a photo of him on his official Instagram account and celebrated his birthday with a sentimental message. In his message, he celebrated his birthday and said that his friend was watching him from heaven. He continued and added he had passed away but never forgot and will never forget him.
