Ryan Reynolds Mentions Jeopardy Host Alex Trebek’s Insane Effort For ‘Free Guy’ Despite His Struggle

Candian actor Ryan Reynolds has published a recent tweet on Twitter and mourned the legendary long-time host of Jeopardy, Alex Trebek, who died at 80.

Legendary host Alex Trebek died at age 80 from stage four pancreatic cancer. In a statement shared on Jeopardy’s Twitter account, it was stated that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends.

Before Alex Trebek died at age 80 from stage four pancreatic cancer, he filmed a cameo in Ryan Reynolds’ film Free Guy. On Sunday, Ryan Reynolds shared a beautiful tribute for Trebek, saying that the long-time host of Jeopardy had filmed a cameo for his movie, Free Guy, whose release date was uncertain due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Reynolds also mentioned Trebek made this cameo by showing his insane effort despite his illness. He also said that he was very generous, loyal, and kind and that he would always remember him.

Here’s what Ryan stated:

“Alex Trebek was kind enough to film a cameo for our film Free Guy last year despite his battle. He was gracious and funny. In addition to being curious, stalwart, generous, reassuring, and of course, Canadian. We love you, Alex. And always will.”
